Downtown Saline is an inclusive place where everyone feels welcome! Authenticity and friendliness make Downtown Saline an extraordinary location for work, small biz enterprise, human scale investment – and a wonderful place to visit, work or call home!

Our Vision

  • Downtown Saline is a social and commercial nexus for entertainment, shopping, dining, innovation, and the arts.
  • We are a destination for sidewalk strolls and sightseeing made lively with vibrant storefronts and streetscapes flanked by classic Michigan architecture.
  • People find Downtown Saline to be the ideal meeting place for friends, families, and community celebrations throughout the year.
  • Locals take pride in our downtown, supporting its growth and preservation with a dedicated network of volunteers and partnerships.
  • Historic character, welcoming and friendliness make this diverse Main Street community an attractive place for enterprise and investment, and a wonderful place to call home.

Our Stand for Racial and Gender Equity in Business and Opportunities

We invite, support and create opportunities for diverse entrepreneurs, vendors, artists, creatives, stakeholders, and residents of Downtown Saline. We stand firmly against hatred, injustice, and inequity. Downtown Saline is a place where you belong – where everyone belongs!

Taking A Firm Stand Against Racism

Saline Stands With “Main Streets Stand Against Racism”. NMSC’s President and CEO Patrice Frey recently shared a letter to the Network calling on Main Streets to be, “a force for good in addressing the challenge of racial inequity.” Last week, we highlighted the ways in which local Main Street programs did just that, standing up for racial justice in immediate response to Mr. Floyd’s death on Memorial Day. Eighteen days later, local leaders continue to use their connections and platforms to stand up for racial equity. Learn more.

UNITED. RESPECT. EQUITY.

From sharing anti-racism resources to sending updates on peaceful protests, Main Streets are amplifying the voices and initiatives of anti-racist activism in their community.
